| The Behemoth Table is aptly named because of it's size and weight. This executive sized desk composes of an upcycled metal gate for the desk top and the sturdy frame made of solid wood. The first phase in it's construction involves grinding and stripping off all the old paint from the metal frame and finishing it with clear coat. The next phase involved assembling the aged lumber into the massive and sturdy frame that holds up the heavy metal top. Finally, installing the clear glass that will serve as the table surface. Spanning slightly above two meters long, this desk serves as the perfect executive work desk for the industrial themed studio/office that will serve as it's final home. True to its name, the combination of both the rough metal and solid wood gives this massive desk, the look and feel of a tough industrial piece that will last for ages. |
